It has been a pleasure having Jean-Marc as a panelist on a workshop for international students on how to navigate the job search process for international students. He was so professional, knowledgeable and friendly as a panelist staying longer than required to answer students' questions as well as provide a wealth of resources for both students and fellow colleagues of mine to utilize in working with international students. Additionally, he is so motivated and easy to talk to-he is the symbol of an international student becoming successful and learning the ropes of business conduct. His resources, experiences and knowledge in assisting international students is something I strive to do in helping international students as well. I recommend him as a coach and a panelist for sure because he has a lot to offer. Thanks so much Jean-Marc for your amazing contribution to our recent workshop. I hope to invite you to future programs.

I got an internship in the USA, in a company I wanted to. Big thanks to "U in the USA", they greatly helped me finding this company and arranging an interview. I obtained a lot of useful knowledge, while working with "U in the USA" which I am applying already even in the University. And which will be very helpful when I am in the USA. Special thanks to Jean-Marc, he always believed in me! There was a moment where I was thinking of aiming something easier, but he said "You can do it, don't give up, we are almost there", and he was right! Believe in yourself.., it could just take little more time than you think to get what you want!.) I also like the phrase, Les Brown once said, Don't give up aiming what you want, otherwise you will get what you don't want... He said it in a bit different way but with the same sense.

His assessment tools and debriefing sessions helped me clarify my why and why I wanted to move to America, Who I am, What I want to do, What makes me special, and many more. Too bad I can't list enough.... I've never tried to look inside myself as a professional like this. It was definitely helpful. He made a great one! I was very happy to work with Jean-Marc. He is an extremely motivated, friendly and hardworking person. As my career coach, he made a significant contribution in my quest to reinvent myself. Jean Marc is the one you need! Attentive, very keen, efficient and full of goodwill, he has provided many high quality services. He has given me a lot of time, helped me adjust to my new life in Los Angeles, from seeking an apartment to helping me build my professional and personal network. He was very helpful. I have trusted in him from the beginning and I regret anything! My moving would have been way more difficult if he wasn't there to land me a hand. I highly recommend him to those who are looking to move easily, and to get integrated in different networks. It's always good to have someone on your side when you are in a new country. Jean Marc has all the keys you need to succeed.

Jean-Marc Dedeyne was a well-known Ambassador at InterNations in Los Angeles. His devotion to the Ambassador's position by organizing meetings among expats in LA inspired me by its altruistic, honest, open minded and good nature, that made people who lived far away from their countries and families to feel needed and wanted. InterNations LA became a virtual organization that kept many of my friends from there together by making them feel as a family. Thank you Jean-Marc. :-)

Jean-Marc brought something special to InterNations. I was well aware that it was his leadership that made the events special. He knew to choose great locations, create an atmosphere of conviviality conducive to socializing, and make everyone feel welcomed and comfortable. Not a small feat to pull off when dealing with a diverse population of immigrants, expats and professionals of every stripe. I miss his contributions tremendously!

I was very pleased to attend Jean-Marc Dedeyne’s presentation at the first-ever Diaspora Forum, which was held from 9 to 10 December 2013. The purpose of the forum was to “highlight the achievements of Martinique worldwide.” The forum also sought to help young people and entrepreneurs “better prepare for perspectives on globalization and to examine diaspora investment opportunities in Martinique. What role should Martinique’s diaspora community play in its development and economy was among the issues addressed during the forum. Our event also aimed to enhance the attractiveness of Martinique through the development of our nationals living abroad. Unanimously, Jean-Marc Dedeyne’s interventions were greatly appreciated at the forum. As a strong supporter of youth skills development and youth in Martinique, I favorably welcomed Jean-Marc Dedeyne’s approach and its project in the field of business leadership and communication.

Dear Jean-Marc, Ricarda and I would like to express our sincere gratitude to you. Your service was extremely necessary and helpful for our family as we moved to another continent. Without you, it would have been much more challenging. You were definitively a big support to us. With you taking care of some of the most important elements related to our move to Los Angeles, it felt like a relief for our family. We were able to focus on the other needs of our family. You definitively smoothed out the settling in period into our new home and community. We always felt that we were in good hands with you. We had the impression that you were always listening with a lot of empathy almost like being a family member. When we wanted to make some changes, you were always flexible and open to them. In addition, we are really grateful that you received our furniture while we were in Munich.

I had the pleasure of working with Jean-Marc for a few months. He has served as a local destination consultant in Los Angeles for two of my client's expats. This particular client has a very strict relocation policy, and when I was advised that they would be relocating their new VP to Los Angeles from Germany, I knew that we needed the best consultant, and Jean-Mac was the perfect fit. He not only went above and beyond in communicating with the expat and myself, he was extremely thorough and detail oriented in his work, so our German expat was able to find a home and settle into his new surroundings much quicker. He exhibits top-notch professionalism in his interactions and communication. The expat expressed his sincere gratitude for Jean-Marc's help on multiple occasions. I look forward to working with Jean-Marc in the future, and I will always request him specifically for my clients who are relocating expats into Los Angeles.

A wonderful testament to the need to be still and know. Inspiring and moved me to stop reaching for my phone first thing in the morning. Now I wait and decide when I want to invite the world in. Listening to the voice within is so important so much so that if prayer is us speaking to God, then the voice within is God speaking to us and it if we listen to it, it can literally save out lives! Thank you Jean-Marc for sharing such an uplifting message for the times we live in.

What a great story. Thank you so much for sharing it. If I had listened to la petite voix in 2006, I would never have made the real estate and business investments that cost me my life's savings. I remember as clearly as if it were yesterday that the inner voice was screaming at me to not make those investments. My pride outranked the voice. I learned a valuable lesson and am now rebuilding my life professionally and financially with God at the very center.

Jean-Marc Dedeyne is a very active person who is always ready to share his American personal and professional experience with his fellows in Martinique but also worldwide. Many of us discovered his career during the diaspora Forum two years ago. He was invited by our MBA association to talk to our members about leadership, personal branding, cross culture and keys to succeed in the USA. His excellent presentation generated many other invitations and contacts follow-up. Although he has built his Life in Los Angeles, his links with his native country are firmly anchored thanks to his sharing and actions. He is a selfless and reliable person.

I had the great opportunity to attend the first TEDx Fort-de-France in December 2015 where I listened to Jean-Marc Dedeyne's speech for the first time. Jean-Marc's speech “the little voice” was heart moving. It was for me the possibility to be in remembrance. Hence, we have a tendency to be so focus into our business; our work and that we are not listening to our little voice. Moreover, we are distracted with music, TV, social media that our little voice seems far. Jean-Marc had the ability to introduce us to his world and remind us that listening to our inner voice is life changing. Indeed, Jean-Marc's speech was so visual so colorful that he immersed us in his journey about discovering his inner voice. His truthful story about how he personally discovered his little voice and he's actually living according to it. It was really moving.

I had the chance to watch Jean-Marc Dedeyne perform his inspiring speech on the very first TEDx Fort-de-France. Jean-Marc said it out loud what we’ve all experienced once or more times in our lives: that strange power which directs us to the right path – if we let it. He calls it inner voice and reminds us how often we don’t give enough credit to it and choose listen to our conscious minds instead. His powerful speech showed us his road to learn about the existence and finally the importance of this inner voice. Very intense and meaningful speech, talented orator!

I mentored and worked with Jean-Marc Dedeyne as President of Toastmasters Club Eloquence 972 and one of the Official Coaches for TEDxFortdeFrance. I always enjoyed his kindness, behavior and how he always engages others in a meaningful way. I highly appreciated his personality, dedication and understanding about his life’s purpose. During the TEDx’s Conference, Jean-Marc performed very well, and the public was uplifted by his personal story and message. I am pleased to recommend him as an inspiring speaker and writer for any organization who wants to help its leaders and employees grow, find purpose in life and find fulfillment.”
Jack Brunet – CEO at Potential Plus International
-
At the very beginning of the TEDxFortdeFrance’s project, I promoted the idea of a more philosophical and spiritual approach to spread new ideas. I am very grateful that Jean-Marc took the necessary steps to share a more spiritual message at the first TEDx’s conference that took place on December 20, 2015 in Martinique. Thanks to him, we ultimately reached our objective. I am also pleased that Jean-Marc faithfully invested time and energy in working with my team and the other speakers. He is a committed and trustful person who draws from his own personal experience and life lessons to eventually speak from a place of deep understanding and empathy.
Laurent Cypria – Former TEDxFortdeFrance Event and Project Manager

Jean-Marc paid a high price the day he chose to ignore the warnings sent by his inner voice. Today, he makes habit of cultivating and listening to the voice within himself to find meanings in life. When I heard his speech, I was touched by his sincerity and the fact that he exudes peace. If you need someone to help you find your life purpose, Jean-Marc Dedeyne is the right person for you.
Marie-Line Bozor-Criquet - Training Manager at Credit Agricole Martinique

Jean-Marc Dedeyne was a Toastmaster colleague of mine for two years. During that time, I have been privileged to experience four of his speeches, as well as numerous meeting roles he has so competently filled. Jean-Marc has a wonderful ability to forge an immediate connection with his audience. The messages he shares center around the power within you. When you tap into that power and communicate with your higher power, your life can become so much more relevant and meaningful – anything becomes possible! By telling us how to accomplish this, Jean-Marc demonstrates the capacity to motivate and inspire others to take action and control their lives. His speaking style is honest and smooth in its delivery. He speaks with such poise and sincerity, that the listener’s attention is immediately captivated. Jean-Marc believes that we are all blessed with beautiful personal attributes and power. I would not hesitate to recommend Jean-Marc as a motivational speaker to inspire people who want to transition towards a more meaningful life of direction, purpose and value.

I am a firm believer in trusting my gut feeling and listening to my little voice. But Jean-Marc demonstrated throughout his story why our inner voice is so important in our lives. As he was delivering his powerful message at TEDxFortdeFrance, I dived into his personal journey and felt a high degree of empathy for him. The experience was so intense that he gave me goose bumps. Ultimately I understood the universal meaning of his message. At the end of his speech, I felt light and free. I highly recommend Jean-Marc for your next speaking event.

I worked with Jean-Marc for almost two years and he has always been a great inspiration to me. Jean-Marc is very dedicated, reliable, innovative, and community-oriented. He is constantly looking for new ways to serve InterNations and provide InterNations members with the best experience in LA. Jean-Marc is an amazing Ambassador and a great person to work with - and not only because he challenges you to think out of the box, but also because he is a very likeable person.
