I’m on an exciting journey to become an ICF Certified Professional Christian Life Coach. I have received my training from the Professional Christian Coaching Institute (PCCI), an International Coaching Federation accredited school that is staffed by some of the best coaches from around the world.

I already completed 102 hours of Coach-Specific Training with the Professional Christian Coaching Institute (PCCI) and 10 hours of CliftonStrengths Accompaniment Coaching Training with The Human Formation Coalition.

My purpose is to continue to collaborate with the Holy Spirit to help my clients listen to “the desires of their hearts,” discern God’s Will for their lives and provide them with the best coaching experience possible. I’m committed to diligently investing in my skills to do it.

I had the pleasure of being coached by Jean-Marc Dedeyne on one of my fulfillment stories. I have known JM for 20 years and we have always shared a lot. Initially, I accepted the coaching more to help him with his exercise. I didn’t expect it to have the impact it had… The way JM conducted the coaching was very friendly and he created a space for trust and no judgment. Only those factors can allow vulnerability and honesty. More we would dive into the experiment, more I would allow myself to be vulnerable and allow myself to value my achievements, or finding positive things to say about me I have never said, or valued. I figured out that I valued not only my success, but I was also grateful for my failures, or I would allow myself to speak up about my fears. For the first time, I was invited to reflect on choices I did and try to explain the reason behind them… should it be tradition or emotional or mental choice. Questions he asked made me speak about things that I didn’t know were there in depth of my mind, things that I never talked about… moreover, I never took time to think about them with my crazy schedule Questions he asked were on a different structural level … so after you answer to one question, the second force you to dig deeper to find the reply. I was so happy that JM was the one to this coaching with me, because some questions took me 20 years back to the beginning of our friendship and how we were then as persons and how we evolved personally or professionally, but also and the most important - how we took care of our friendship, navigating through challenges and frustration that each of us had in life, learning how to respect boundaries one of us needed to have, despite that we wouldn’t agree. And how fragile sometimes was our connection and how we bounced back to each other. Thinking about it now … we don’t speak about failures …or outcome we get from failures. After the exercise I was feeling so light in my chest, so relieved … my only reaction was “Wow, I didn’t know how much I needed this, thanks you Marco” So just go for it. I think this exercise should be used in schools also. Should I give a name to it, would be “20 minutes with my true me”.
